Introduction: Uterine epithelial cells (UECs) undergo a number of changes to become receptive to blastocyst implantation including the loss of integrin based focal adhesions (FA), and increase in basolateral plasma membrane (PM) curvature; despite these changes UECs maintain a polarised state.
